Welcome to the City Challenge Families of Schools online for 2008...

For the last four years City Challenge has been helping schools to support and learn from each other. Starting with London and expanding to Greater Manchester in 2007 and, now, Black Country in 2008 - the City Challenge approach has demonstrated real improvements in attainment.

Families books, throughout the 4 years, and this website, over the last 2 years, have provided the vital media and data to enable head teachers and curriculum leaders to focus learning and communication to most appropriate peers and colleagues.

This website was initiated in 2007 to enable the online publication of London Primary Families - reducing the complexity of distributing four volumes. The City Challenge team also took advantage of the website to publish electronic copies of all other London and Greater Manchester books at Primary and Secondary levels. The Families of Schools Online sees further change in 2008 with the addition of Black Country schools.

The ability to view online versions of the books and your families can be accessed below - the website uses same approach as RAISEonline and should be familiar. Any ideas for new reports and indicators are warmly welcomed by your local Challenge Steering teams...
